Meh... we were still paying him a fairly decent wage and - I'm sure - some sort of goal bonus.

West Brom'll go up, he'll end up back at Reading, and probably score against us in the next couple of seasons.

At what point do we stop wishing him well?

Pah, I bet Ben Hutchinson is on a decent wage and he hasn't convinved me of his effort.

I'll stop wishing Cox well when I feel like it Smiley

How do you know it wasn't a MOTM display? Were you there?

I'd love him to go on & command a Walcot type transfer fee. We might then get more than the 10k we got for him in sell ons

I met the head of reading's academy on saturday night. He lives round the corner from me. Anyway, to cut a very boring story short, he was telling me how he makes half a per cent of any sale of a player to have come through the youth system. So he gets half a per cent of the 600k or whatever it was reading made on Coxy's move to west brom. He said in all the time he's been working at reading, coxy was by far his greatest hope to make it big. He thinks coxy would do a job in the top flight.
