Well the only silver lining I see is if it does indeed turn out to be Gunning and he carries on where he left off he’ll be gone by November with a bit of luck.

…think that’ll be the case regardless of who the manager is.

Adams at least has some sort of track record in this league but other than that it’s a dull, dour appointment & much more likely to go tits up than it is to bring us any success. It’s certainly not going to get pulses racing or sell season tickets (not that many managers would at this level)

Or paid more as a loan manager, than he was a first team coach?

Nothing to see really. Les defending Gav on a personal level, which i don't have a problem. Fans rightly interpret the comment as confirming he was the cheap option, but we knew that anyway?
