I've spent all season in the nationwide and seems to be frowned upon for any noise or movement whatsoever.

You're sacrificing a very good view though!
I've enjoyed it more in the town end this season to be honest. Me and my mate sat up in the Nationwide in the relegation season and whenever we even tried a chant or sang along everyone looked at us with disgust.

Yeah i love the view, thats why i bought a season ticket there. It's like pro evo from my seat, but when i go away I have such a better time which the singing crowd, it's a different buzz. I guess i have to sacrifice one though

I kind of enjoy the balance of civilisation at home games - my Dad never took me in the Town End because he doesn't have great eyesight, and the fun of away days on the train, standing or sitting in crumby surroundings with a really good atmosphere. GOing in the town end week in week out would somewhat remove my appreciation of the match, as I find the perspective goes when you sit behind the goal.

I get what Matt means about the perspective but I had forgotten what a good view you get from the Bank. As you're a bit higher than the TE you seem to get a better picture of what's going on (at the TE end).

Agreed the TE is a real cave and the bank better, but I've sat on the holt end a few times and I don't really enjoy sitting there - just can't see things like offsides the same as on the side.

The slow 'oh when the reds...' sounds like everyone's drunk and slurring.

The slow 'oh when the reds...' sounds like everyone's drunk and slurring. I quite like it just once or twice as long as it speeds up after a short while Can imagine how boring it would be if people kept doing it though!
