On his day, Palmer is ace. We just need his days to happen more often.

It wouldn't surprise me if the worst Swindon side in 35 years did the double over the Pox tonight. There's no logic in football.

Thinking back now to how absolutely fuming I was when Sheridan brought Broadbent on up front in the first game. Hope to be every bit as pleasantly stunned tonight.

I think you're a little harsh on Palmer Venks, he blows hot and cold for sure but I think he's done quite well in some games, he has good energy and covers the ground, him and Lyden could be decent partnership. His ball retention definitely needs improvement obviously.

It's his creative potential that excites me. Hot & cold...absolutely. But he can open games up when he's in the mood.

We've looked poor when going 442, think we played it against Wigan and were lucky that they were so bad, has to be your offering rather than the BBC's for me Paul.

3/1 for a home side to win just shows how far we've fallen !!, (Just had a few quid on it though - be gutted if I didn't and we did actually win !).

Yeah Twine needs to play sat in the number 10 role for me. Almost as I posted earlier in my "hope it is" line up. Personally I would prefer
Trueman Odimayo Conroy Broadbent Thompson Lyden Palmer Garrick Twine Payne Pitman
I love Caddis but I would prefer the pace and height of Odimayo at RB.

I respect your opinion mate but I haven't seen any of the opening up games you speak of yet. I hope I am wrong and he plays a blinder but for me hes been really really poor and a weak link in the middle of the park, probaby has a pass completion rate of under 20% I would think.

To be clear that's from the BBC sport app. Don't know who decides the formations on that, but they usually describe it differently from the BBC Wilts commentators e.g. when we were playing 4-2-3-1 (or 4-4-1-1 for PP) in recent weeks until Saturday, the BBC Sport app usually had it as 3-5-2, even though Andrew Hawes was clearly describing 4 at the back
