We had home made egg mcmuffins last week and I really missed the sausage bit so if I can get those, that would be ideal!

While we're on the subject of Maccy D's muffins, I'd like to do my eggs in their style too. I've seen some round type gadgets on eBay/Amazon but they have some dodgy reviews. If anyone has bought anything like that let me know please.

I got some plastic ring things which are pretty shite, the egg runs out underneath. Might try some metal ones

Just crack it into a lightly buttered/oiled mug and pop it in the microwave for 45secs-1min. If you like your egg McDs style (extra over easy yolks) then you'll be surprised at the accuracy. Adjust your time depending on your wattage to get the "perfect" egg. Personally, it's cardinal sin but you can get similarly good results for scrambled egg via a microwave too. I prefer the bain marie method though.

The round sausage in Maccy D's muffins are the bomb.
They taste great but I've recently switched to just egg and cheese because the grease in the sausage muffins is heart attack inducing. Sent from my CLT-L09

A bit woody and left a few splinters in the roof of your mouth I’ll wager.

I bought some many moons ago with the same results. Probably part of a Porsche 911 turbo now.
