Title: Re: Crawley postponed Post by: Batch on Sunday, November 7, 2021, 14:56:59 common sense
Title: Re: Crawley postponed Post by: Jimmy HaveHave on Sunday, November 7, 2021, 15:24:59 Garner did say after yesterday's game that with the Baurdry injury unknown he would be addressing the situation again.

Title: Re: Crawley postponed Post by: The Grim Reaper on Sunday, November 7, 2021, 16:03:58 Bugger. Hope the Mrs don’t find out or I’ll be dragged out Christmas shopping. Might just have to put town shirt on and head off for a pre match pint and try to wing it.
Title: Re: Crawley postponed Post by: TheDukeOfBanbury on Sunday, November 7, 2021, 16:28:38 Without doubt the right decision.

Title: Re: Crawley postponed Post by: NotHarryAgombar on Sunday, November 7, 2021, 21:21:12 Sensible decision - glad that decision take on football grounds.
Shame in some ways - Crawley had been on a poor run in the league. Good chance to rest those in need of a break / carrying any niggling injuries, plus hopefully get Critchlow and / or Baudry fit again by the following week. Title: Re: Crawley postponed Post by: THE FLASH on Monday, November 8, 2021, 09:34:20 Shame but sensible.
Might take in Dreadzone at Frome Cheese n Grain Saturday night now. Title: Re: Crawley postponed Post by: Bob's Orange on Monday, November 8, 2021, 10:17:45 With Crichlow and Baudry knacked and KKH away we just don't have enough cover so postponing makes a lot of sense.

Absolutely mate. Stupid to consider playing it as soon as Baudry took a knock. Wasnt McKirdy out with a suspension too for that game if it was plyed?Title: Re: Crawley postponed Post by: Jimmy HaveHave on Monday, November 8, 2021, 10:21:14 It looks like McMirdy will now miss the Newport away game😂
Title: Re: Crawley postponed Post by: theakston2k on Monday, November 8, 2021, 10:28:52 Common sense prevails at last, Mrs ain’t happy though as she’d booked corporate for my birthday and they told her it was definitely on on Saturday.
Title: Re: Crawley postponed Post by: Bob's Orange on Monday, November 8, 2021, 10:34:47 Absolutely mate. Stupid to consider playing it as soon as Baudry took a knock. Wasnt McKirdy out with a suspension too for that game if it was plyed? I had forgotten about McKirdy, which is ironic as he is a walking yellow card. In the first half at Crewe he was in the lino's ear from 1-45. Amazed he didn't get booked for gobbing off, especially as I think Trevor Kettle warned him to watch his lip. Title: Re: Crawley postponed Post by: Posh Red on Monday, November 8, 2021, 11:18:47 The irony is that we've probably called it off because of the injuries to Crichlow & Baudry rather than missing the four players.
Still the right decision though, and hopefully one (or both) of them will be fit for our next proper game Title: Re: Crawley postponed Post by: 4D on Monday, November 8, 2021, 11:24:46 Chip home to Billericay on Saturday if you fancy some footie.
Title: Re: Crawley postponed Post by: swindonmaniac on Monday, November 8, 2021, 13:32:53 Would have been good to have got McKirdys suspension out of the way, would have preferred him to miss this one rather than Newport.
Title: Re: Crawley postponed Post by: Jimmy HaveHave on Monday, November 29, 2021, 16:52:57 Now Tuesday 1st February
