Prutton was top earner on £4k a week  Crying
Dougie is up there I believe, as was ALAN!!! on £3.5k

Unbelievable really considering ALAN!!! had 45 minutes of good football for us, and Prutton had 4 or 5 good minutes.
Please don't tell me this is true?

If I thought this was true, I would feel cheated that I didn't give these players a hard time during home games. For that kind of cash, i would want to see those players crawl of the pitch, wasted at the end of a game.

I would say those figures are not far off the mark at all.

Trouble is, when you pay footballers at this level that sort of money they tend to crawl ON to the pitch wasted at the START of the game!

And if that's the case, even if he had a 25% - or at most 33% - reduction clause built in, 4k a week is a crazy wage for league 2.

The club are in negotioting with Cuthbert as the wages are too high for L2.

They are currently not offering/activating the extra year to him.
