Larwood i think we will win. With vaughan back maybe opening he will confidence to players like Freddie who might be a bit down. Hope Daylrimple plays.

we'll get arse raped. There's no way the players have any confidence at the moment. 9/4 an England win if anyone does fancy a punt

Someone at work said you could get 7's on England if you shop about, might have a Kevin Campbell later on us.

Mind you I had a few quid on the last 2 tests. "We've gotta win one surely"  :|

oh, plus if you can get sevens on England there must be an arbitrage possibility cos the Aussies are only around 3/1 on.

Convicts won the toss and are batting first. For us Vaughan and Joyce are opening the batting,Nixon is making his debut and Monty and Lewis are also in the side. Here are the two teams.Because i'm too lazy to copy it out

didnt understand Joyce even being out there .. Anderson was awful AGAIN .. the fielding was diabolical! .. come on Virgil .. sort it out!

Bright spots were Dalrymple and Nixon tho

JD must have secured his spot in the team now .. Yardy should have been given another go I think! (and he aint even out there!)

Plus points were Vaughan, Dalrymple and nixon with the batting and Monty with the ball. Near the end the aussie fielding was pathetic. I agree with fatbury that Dalrymple has secured his spot for the England ODI Side for the commenwealth bank series and the world cup.

I would have thought Dalrymple's spot was secured anyway seeing as he has done well in previous ODI outings.

Oh and i can't believe i got up at 8:20am to watch that shite, i wont make the same mistake for the first ODI on Friday morning.

Because that ring piece Fletcher is a big fan of that shot hence why we seem to play it all the fucking time in One Day Cricket.

Joyce because he's class.

Anderson because anyone can for a few in Twenty20?

JD and Nixon when we'd lost?

Jon Lewis, thank god he's playing? drops a pisser and is our most expendive bowler bar one?

Christ you're a twat sometimes Fatbury

James Anderson has been diabolical all tour (certainly in the matches that mean anything). Which isn't surprising really, as he hasn't had enough cricket to justify selection.

He doesn't seem right in the head either - bangs every ball in half way down in the tests, but bowls full length in the one dayers  :(

He's probably doing what he's been told. Anderson is good enough and he's shown that before.

Didn't his physio say he was SIX months away from test match fitness? Six?! 6! It's not his fault.

Also, I don't think the England boys particularly cared today. The only thing I enjoyed were the Aussies awful nicknames. Ben Hilfenhaus's nickname is "Hilfy"! Pathetic

all the best nicknames come up organically. I used to know a guy who didn't have a nickname that would stick, until we went into the pub and this old boy comes up to him and says "Hello Roy, haven't seen you in ages". Ever since then he's known as Roy.

Joycey will come good. He'll end up being one of our best batsmen in the ODI series.

Aussies were pretty good really. Didnt really have anyone say anything, which was good because we'd got on the wine.  :soapy tit wank:

Apparently I was on the TV when Lewis caught someone. Coming home today. Great tour.  :x
