Can we make 5 subs now.
I don’t even care who they are. Curran would improve this defence

5-0. Garrick beat again. Grant watched it go past him to an unmarked Grigg on the penalty spot. He gets his 4th.

The defending today just about sums up the state of the football club right now. A sorry state of affairs.

I mean, this isn't that hard to work out - we have a non right back being exposed as a right wing back with nobody helping him and Franchise have spotted it so are sending two players down his wing. IN the middle we have Grounds playing like the Sloth he seems to be - for the third goal he was marking our player, for the fourth he was 6 yards off his man and for the fifth he tracked his man and then walked away from him to leave him free to score.
If someone on our bench couldn't work this shit out then they don't deserve to earn a wage in football. It was fucking obvious from the first 10 minutes and we have done nothing to solve the problem. It may not have got a result, we probably still go on to lose the game given they are better than us, but to not try and change the shape is criminal for a Management team. In fact, to send the team out the way they did was criminal. Fucking useless pricks.

We’ve had a huge number of games with players played out of position - whether by design or not.
Others not picked for no apparent reason, some sent packing - probably for bring too good.
The whole set up stinks.

Conroy had his minor op and will be running the week after next. Pre season and I would expect him to be ready. Hope he stays and we give him a year deal to see his fitness.
Conroy has never and will never stay fit for a full season.... Has become a liability same as Fryers, Lyden and Baudry If he stays it should only be on a pay to play basis... Would be a complete waste of a full time contract
