This is trialist B
Jordan Fankwe
‘ How would you describe your playing style? I would say I’m someone who destroys and breaks up play. I like to make tackles and win the ball. I see myself playing in centre-midfield as a holding player, certainly focusing more on the defence. I look up to Wilfred Ndidi from Leicester City and try to take elements out of his game.
Your footballing idol? When I was younger, I watched Claude Makélélé. He was a really strong player, really good on the ball and he was a soldier for the team. That was something that I really liked because I try to be solid for the team and replicate his attributes.
Biggest influence? I would say that when I first came to England, I met someone called Patrick from Nottingham Forest. He was the first person that I met when I came to England, and everywhere I have been he has been so important in my life and career. He has always helped me and given me great advice.

You would expect him to have many options so strange if we did actually sign him.

I wouldn't be so sure - he's basically had a career in the Academy at Notts Forest, then a season with Mickleover (Southern Premier League - Supermarine level) and a few months in Watford's Academy before being released at the first option. Never went out on loan as he was released by Forest before he'd have hit that age really.

Oh dear. Shame, as he’s looked quite good in the minor cameos he’s played.

I mean, I hope he (Fankwe) turns out great in the role he plays - we need someone there, BUT, this would be a puntiest of punts again.

He's the kind of player you'd expect to be on trial I guess - a bigger, more experienced name would (you'd think) expect just to be offered a contract.

Here we go, clear as mud:
Everything acquired from SBC will be leased to the Club through a 250-year lease agreement with an annual rent payable to the JV. The Club will be responsible to keep the ground in good order/repair at their own cost once existing defects and dilapidations have been addressed by the JV.
It would boil down to whether or not the immediate maintenance costs are covered under that bit about existing defects? If so, then the JV should have paid for them - once up and running it's on the club, so I retract my previous comments. If I remember correctly the club was on the hook previously as well, just they didn't agree they were and so next to nothing got repaired.
Pretty standard stuff, you don't take on a lease with a repairing clause unless you are satisfied the asset is in decent nick, would normally be boxed off by the party taking the lease getting their own survey done and agreeing a position prior to signing. The elephant here is that the lessee is also 50% of the landlord, but I suspect its all pretty irrelevant anyway as unless the trust suddenly find £100k down the back of the settee or the Eady Trust have some more to chip in the majority will be coming out of clems back pocket. Whether this is directly detrimental to the transfer/wage budget is I suspect entirely unknown to anyone on here.
