my thoughts on tonights forum:
the board - seemed clueless. Devlin talked some sense but yet again it was lies (the honesty on the financial position of the club is not there)
the ticket prices - ive heard it all before. new incentives will be considered bla bla bla! they have been for the last 2 years and nothing has been done.
the manager/team - the only positive of the night in my view. Iffy sounded like he meant business and a few new players look set to come in. i think it may not be long before we turn the corner on that front.
the staduim - sounds like the whole thing has gone tits-up. Sandy Gray was basically saying that St Modwen are no longer involved and that the club are going it alone with the council. not good. the council have already said that the project cannot go ahead without financial backing. the cricket and athletics clubs have yet to be consulted after 6 months. i can see them negotiations going tit-up and the whole project falling apart.
all in all a pile of wank really
