I miss the LNT's ,though i have to admit I didnt realise that I missed them till a few minutes ago. The perfect LNT needs a drunk, someone working and a student desperatly trying to finish some work.It should include drawings and whimsy.

I used to miss getting up the next afternoon and reading entire threads of late night goodness which I couldn't remember. It was like reliving the magic of drunkeness the second time round. I also miss the late night drunk msn conversations with Whits.

I'm boring now, sorry Yeo. The only reason I'm still awake is because I slept for 12 hours last night.

I'm really struggling with sleep at the moment, which is annoying the next day when I'm tired and could nap anywhere.

I wonder if its possible to survive having a 30min nap in every 2 hours. That might work for me at the moment. I'm sure there's some REM sleepy losing my religion science bollocks which says that won't work.

Thanks for starting this yeovil.

The Uberman's Sleep Schedule

Sleeping Hours
The Uberman's sleep schedule revolves around forcing yourself to rely on six twenty to thirty minute naps spread throughout the day for your daily dose of sleep. I stuck to thirty minute naps, currently having them starting roughly at 2 AM, 6 AM, 10 AM, 2 PM, 6 PM, and 10 PM every day.

How & Why It Works
Over the course of a normal eight hour sleeping period, your body moves through a continuous cycle of five distinct sleep stages. Of these, stage 5 REM sleep has been found to be the part of the cycle that provides the benefits of sleep for your mind.

Essentially, the trick of the Uberman's sleep schedule is to trick your mind into entering REM sleep as soon as you drift into a sleeplike state. Unfortunately, the only real way to do this is through sleep deprivation of sorts.

Yeah, it sounded familiar to me whilst I was typing it. I'm pretty sure that you only start your proper sleep cycle a few hours into sleepy time, so I can't see how it would work.

I reckon it stands for Notre Dame College which is in Ohio. How did a town fan end up there?
