I'd back G in that fight. I see Barguil was blaming Tejay though, typical Frenchman.

I was willing Sagan to win the stage. I wish I was half as cool as he is.

Haven't not heard anything before the highlights I was shocked at how nasty it looked. Glad he was ok and got back up to recover and finish.

Barguil went in too hot from what I saw and not much to do with TJ.

Everyone wishes they were as cool as Sagan (and then maybe we'd have a bird like his). Funny how there is a bit of friction between him and Mr Tinkoff.

Seeingly the French are doing their best to but Sky off from punching riders, throwing piss at them and now the cyclists have got into the action by barging G off the road.

All G was interested in was getting his sunglasses back !!

Although not strictly speaking cycling, does anyone know where I can d/load a pre programmed stage route (to include gradients etc) of the tour de France on to a USB stick which I can upload to an exercise bike at the gym?

I had a very quick look but couldn't find anything.

You might want search for such things as turbo training programmes or Watt bike or Proform (or whatever make you have at the gym)

It was in the Dauphine wasn't it, not sure what the average gradient is?

Whatever one thinks of the French, you have to concede they know how to build a road up a mountain....

It's the first time it's been in the Tour. It was just a little goat track but they've surfaced it now so that it can be used.

Only 3km or so long and average gradient is 8% so would be ripe for someone to attack. My money would be on Nibali.

Because the road is so narrow there's no spectators or team cars allowed on the climb, with no trees either it should make for some excellent heli-shots.
