I've heard the bus station is a particular high point of the Town.

My old man was Swindon born (in Commercial Road) and bred (Pinehurst Road) and moved away in the 70's. When I was a kid it was a recurring joke that whenever we arrived in  Swindon there were loads of new roundabouts that had been added since he had last been and he didn't recognise anything!

Swindon does seem to have been quite at the forefront of out of town shopping and killing the town centre.

The recession in 2010 stopped major redevelopment of the Town centre after that it deteriorated quickly and has never recovered apart from failed attempt of developing the Recents Circus college site. Nowadays if shoppers don't want the retail parks or the Outlet Village they will travel to Bath or Bristol who were ahead of the game.
I have no idea if you live in Swindon or not but if you haven't been here for many years you won't recognise North Swindon.

I've heard the bus station is a particular high point of the Town.

It probably is for those who indulge in intravenous drug use in and around that area.

You've never revealed what you actually see on your walks through the bus station!

Back on the home made cider. Just a few cheeky small ones Jim. Tis the season for apples and pears so need to make room for the next batch. Anyone got an Apple or pear tree with surplus fruit going to waste? Apples have to be eaters not cookers.
