Title: Doncaster v Swindon MoM Thread
Post by: Nemo on Saturday, September 2, 2023, 15:47:23
Pretty toothless today after looking rather toothful in recent weeks. Doncaster a better side than the league position would suggest though.

Who stood out for you?

Thought Uwakwe was a contender while he was on, but most of the side between a 6 and 7 out of 10, no standouts in either direction. I gave it to UGM for a couple of bits of really decent last ditch defending alongside a constant threat driving forward.

I am giving it to Uwakwe who was the only player to put consistant crosses into their box.

Got a feeling Town are going to let Austin go in Jan. Freeing up the highest paid player will go someway to paying for both the grass to be cut and toilets unblocked. It would be a worthy sacrifice in order to finish the season 5Op in profit

Today we could probably sum it up with Town being wasteful. Uwakwe was giving plenty of service and Hutton even was a bit closer to what we feel he is good for

Really really average kind of performance most likely spoiled by the ref. Cain probably would have liked a few more mins . Even then the players only really gave like 5s out of ten.

Performance makes Squidward look like he isn't heavily depressed^

Uwakwe edges the PotM with a 5.6/10

^I'm off to a party tonight so I better make sure I up my mood, otherwise I might not be much fun  :soapy tit wank:

weirdly didn't notice uwakwe myself, but given you've both picked him out īt must be me.

mine is hutton, simply because he's the only one I remember being involved throughout.

RHM looked rustier than Rusty Lee sitting on a rusty bench in rustyland

Just a few nice crosses really, it wasn't an exceptional performance but it was a game of decent performances but nothing stand out (bar Ironside for them good and the ref mildly farcical)

Godwin-Malife or FBT for me.

Nobody else was terrible, but nobody else was actually good either.

Mahoney because he was the only player that could pass the ball with pace.
Absolutely shite that was second half. Another 2 points dropped.

DOB...Have agree with your comments. However perhaps at the end of the season the point won could be importance.
