Nice & boring first hour.  Just what was needed.  I'm going to stop writing now for fear of jinxing it.

Oh dear.  My apologies.  KP gone for 64.

Bad to worse.  I'm gone now.  Over & out.

England 91 ahead with 6 wickets left at lunch.

New nut due in 8 overs.

The session between lunch and tea actually will decide who wins the first test IMO.

He had a crap day did Erasmus, Trott was not out and Agar was!!

We've had a few issues with the TV umpire over the last few weeks, when you consider Bell was given out in the CT final, when most observers would say he had enough over the line to be given not out.

Bell certainly had more over the line than Agar had yesterday !!

That's what we were saying last night about KP and Cook, though.

But someone needs to put some runs on the board. This session is critical.

Blimey!  Bell saved by the technology.  Commentators on TMS (except Boycott) convinced he had gone.

Has the pitch really changed that much since yesterday when a number 11 hit 98? I suppose it has been a hot couple of days.

Ian Bell is playing the kind of innings Ian Bell gets mountains of stick for not playing. 200 the lead and every run is helping massively from here, another 50 and we should be safe.

I did consider that but me not posting isn't exactly sending us on the way to a crushing victory either.

How on earth has he got away with that!

Even in the Ashes you have to walk for something like that.
