Morris:

- Timing "not ideal"
- Would have preferred to be in earlier ...
- would have liked a couple more...like every manager...but at this level there is juggling to be done...get people out to get people in..."

We apparently missed out on a different midfield target - but Jody identified city lad ... (sandro)

- Morris happy with Austin - captain not set in stone but..

As said previously on here, why clubs leave these things to the very last minute...

Seems to be a common malaise within the club. Bet Morris was impressed.

It could have been from Spurs side, before we all jump on the clubs back.

I read that as us not sending it.

I also doubt it was an accident. Suspect my not exactly too far out there theory at being at wage cap is the reason

Probably the Tomlinson one got pushed in front and the Spurs lads forms accidently slipped off the fax machine, with a little nudge.

The original story says both clubs failed to get paperwork in.

Not one of the articles say it’s down to Swindon.

Although unlikely I guess we could still technically register our chief sustainability officer as a player right?

Where does it say that? Not sure why we would not proceed with it after fee and wages were agreed

I read that as we didn't announce the signing last night as expected and it has since been confirmed that the move is off.
