I don't understand this...Blackpool's roller coaster is much bigger than Swindon's

Their rollercoaster has a start and a finish...ours seems to be continual...

Doesn't surprise me hugely, Blackpool's wage budget was reported to be similar to ours and it stands to reason he was a high earner here.

I know times change, but it was reported that when Blackpool got to the premier league their top wage in the championship was £10k per week. They allowed for increases but included relegation reduction clauses, so assuming that their wage structure is the same, and assuming your comment then I'd be very surpirsed we offered £10k to Caddis in L2.

Even in the premiership the rumours were that they had a maximum of £15k per week. They seem very structured and strict that they will not exceed there own self enforced limits

I hope Caddis is heading out of the door very quickly.

Loyalty - Gone
Dignity - Gone
Caddis - I don't want to hear any more about him. Get him Gone!

Navarro's tweet this morning was interesting

@alannavarro31: Interesting day ahead, meetings with the club, then off to London to see the specialist.

I'd read that Blackpool's top wage was 8k which is of course, rather famously, what Rooney's "total package" was worth. Not suggesting we offered Caddis 10k in League Two but we extended his contract just before he left on loan in L1 when he was club captain.

More to the point, I'm not suggesting Caddis is on even 5k here, just pointing out that Blackpool's wage budget isn't that different to ours and I'm not sure they'd see Caddis as a top tier earner.

Caddis leaving would solve a few headaches, selection wise & in terms of finances.. This protracted transfer saga has gone on long enough. I don't want us cramming Caddis into the team when he doesn't want to be here, could be another large wage off the bill and could also top up the bank balance.. Plus he's available for free from December.

July 1st 2014.

He is allowed to talk to other clubs/sign a pre contract in Jan. If they want him then they'd still need to pay, but with only 6 months left on his contract he'd be worth even fewer peanuts. That's why we need to sell now.

I don't buy into him being a liability while he's here myself. I think he is professional enough to do the job properly even if he wants out.

The point I'm getting at is that we might well have to pay his large wages for another year, which is annoying when he might well perform at a below par level if he's unhappy, and then at the end of it all we won't get a fee, when we could have had 250k in January & 175k this summer.

I agree with what you say mind, club need to cash in and get the wages off the books. Just saying if we can't do that then he might still be a good player, even if simply looking to impress a new club.

Don't get the animosity towards Caddis. Loyalty doesn't exist in football - he's not a Swindon lad, he's not been here for a decade - what do people expect?

He can go and play a higher standard at a bigger club for more money. I fail to see the outrage.

He needs to leave but I still don't have any doubts that he'll keep putting shifts in as long as he's here.
