I've just given up caffine because most tea is pretty rank if you drink too much.  Earl Grey or English Breakfast are okay as long as it's twinnings.  At the moment I'm drinking Cranberry, Raspberry, and Elderflower.

I thought it nice to revisit but it's ironic as my early to mid thirties is my approach zone now.

Drinking a 7% Japanese Rice Beer.

I'm a red wine drinker these days. The majority of which is made up with Campo Viejo Tempranillo, when it's on offer. Aldi do some great ones as well. Morrisons used to do a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo that was the shit, and we practically lived off, but alas, that's no longer sold.

If in a pub, Guinness. At home, usually red wine, occasionally lager and whisky.

I failed miserably doing Dry January, so doing Dry February. A week in so far and feel better for it. I'm not staying up late drinking and eating crap. I might even carry on and make my next drink a pint in a pub when they open.

I was 40!

My alcohol choices have stayed the same though.

Strong Belgian beers by preference between 9% and 16% alcohol, I cannot drink enough to get drunk any more so I drink them because I like the taste of them not for their alcohol content.

When I go out I would rather abstain totally than drink generic beers/lagers/ciders on tap, utter grabage that they are.

Some nice nostalgia on the first page of this thread, with SY moaning that £3.50 a pint is excessive. That would be cheap nowadays

I flit between lager (Heineken usually) and whatever real ales are on offer. Favourite ale will always be London Pride
