i think i've recomended a panasonic about 5 times on here now.no bugger has bought one yet.
next time i will say alba or grundig

If it's any consolation arriba, one day when my Sony crt gives up the ghost, I will be getting a Panasonic. Maybe one of the ones with Freeview, Freesat and an ethernet port built in. Hope you feel better now

Wow, I was abit fired up yesterday, apologies.

I had a Panasonic TX-P50G10 which I bought after endless research from net reviews and avforums. It was said to be great for gaming with a low input lag and amazing deep blacks. HD picture was indeed great but on SD content from the built in Freeview tuner it was very soft. This is due to the tv having a poor inbuilt scaler.

A way around this was to buy a seperate scaler. Upscaled content from my PS3 such as DVD's were great.

I now have a Samsung UE46 B7020 LCD which is LED edge lit. Amazing tv which I'm far happier with.
