I've been given a Ribble Carbon TT frame and bits - very kind indeed but now I have to kit it out with wheels, fork, chainrings, mechs so I am looking for recommendations for aero wheels and any sale/clearance offers on at the bike websites for any of the above. Post away my lycra clad friends

Have just taken advantage of the Cycle to work scheme through my employers. My 12 year old mountain bike which cost £80 new from Asda Walmart when it first opened is on its last legs. Decided to get a Hybrid as a mountain bike can be tough going on the road and I have little interest in off road riding. Tried a road bike but not comfortable for a tall guy like me. The Boardman Team Hybrid was £750 but my employers pay 40% towards that. So far my experience on this bike have been superb compared to the last one. Gears and brakes have come on a long way it would seem.

When it comes to value for money, Boardman are right up there with the Decathlon bikes.
Jumping onto a Boardman Hybrid after riding an £80 steel framed jobbie for 12 years is probably the equivilant of going from a clapped out Ford Escort into a shiny new Audi.

TdF predictions?
Bertie for GC. Seems to have recovered from Giro efforts. Very strong team around him - last year's KOM in Majka and Kreuziger who finished 5th in his last tour.
With Kittel out, Degenkolb looks worth a few quid for green. Got him at 22/1 a few days back, in to 12/1 now. Can handle any lumpier finishes that Cav etc may struggle on, arguably quicker than Sagan and will now have Giant train working for him.
Bardet KOM Quintana White

I'm hoping for a Froome win, very impressive in the Dauphine. His problem though will be staying on the bike to get to the mountains, could be very easily blown away by wind, train, cobbles, or all three. If not Froome, then Quintana. For me Contador and Nibali are tainted, I'm unconvinced they ride clean....I believe Sky make every effort to ride clean. Green....I'll go Nacer Bouhanni.
