Trivial things you don't understand/mildly annoy you

Human beings and social media, specifically the case of this missing lass in Lancashire, which as you can imagine is pretty big news up here.

So far we have had all manner of accusations being flung at the police, her partner, her sister etc by sleuthing Karen's who have listened to a couple of real crime podcasts and think they are fucking Poirot, leading eventually to plod having to get an order to be able to disperse them from the site of her disappearance where they have been tiktoking and you tubing their little hearts out with all manner of wild theories.

After continuous suggestions that the police were not being honest and trying to cover things up they had to spend time on a long presser yesterday explaining their actions to try an mitigate the accusations being lodged at them and the family, where they said vaguely that the lass had vulnerabilities, cue howls of complaint that this was again a cover up as they didn't say what the issues were at which stage the police and family reveal what the issues were, now the self same entitled pricks who demanded all over SM that it was their right to know everything are howling that the police shouldn't release such information.

Fuck sake.

Everything has to be a fucking conspiracy theory these days. Our local Aldi has just replaced 2 checkout areas and replaced them with 8 self-service tills which is great for people who just want to pop in for a handful of things and usually get stuck behind multiple people with full trolleys.

Anyway, this was mentioned on the town facebook site and amongst the usual people saying how it was a positive change, and the more vocal people who like to have a moan about EVERYTHING and HATE CHANGE whether it's good or bad thing there are a group of people that go on about some weird digital currency conspiracy where you are only going to be allowed to buy a certain amount and you'll be restricted on what you can buy or spend or something. And if you question it you are a SHEEP! and you are told to WAIT AND SEE, or you are told to WAKE UP etc.  Another term is Normies, but I'm not entirely sure what that's all about.

What 'crime area' there was, and remains no, evidence to suggest any crime has been committed. Her disappearance was not even 'news' locally until a few days after it happened.

Not now hundreds of people have been allowed to walk the area. Were sniffer dogs used to follow her scent along the river, fields where last seen, footpath back to the road/ caravan park etc  as I haven't read that anywhere?
