I never did get far on GTA. Maybe because I took to much pleasure in knicking a BMX as opposed to cars and stuff.

Although I did use it for tunes alot. Just jump in a car, select a radio station and remove the video plug from the TV. Some classic tunes to be had from GTA.

I love the GTA games because if you feel like it, you can just mess about and explore the cities.

Don't know them all Sam but there is going to be a "free for all", "team deathmatch", "race" and "free roam" as some of the online features. You earn ranks ny picking up cash off killed people. Sounds pretty good.

Ive heard there are limited numbers of the game, which is why ive pre ordered through HMV.

I'm going down to HMV at midnight on Monday night.

They're getting 75 ps3 copies in with 40 pre orders and 80 xbox360 versions in with 50 pre orders.

My copy was posted yesterday.

although its an outside chance, Toys R Us in Swindon usually have loads of games.

Mario Kart & Sonic & Mario at the Olympics games were sold out every where in Town, text my mate who works at Toys R Us and they had loads left.

Obvioulsy the Wii and its Mario games are a bit more kid friendly than what you guys are looking for but worth a look.

He also used to work at Argos and said people over look them for games as well!

First impressions are fucking good, first off is the car handling, genuinely feels realistic now, you can't brake turn into corners as you will understeer into a lamp post, with a RWD you can drift them and with FWD you just have to crawl, you can actually ditch the police in car chases (rather than having to find a spray shop) and it looks absolutely gorgeous (360 version, i'm assuming the ps3 vers is even more polished)

HMV had loads of copies to people that didn't preorder so that might also be a good bet, goodluck!

I don't think there is too much difference between the two, except the type of discs they [can] use.

360 has by far the better library right now, plus additional EXCLUSIVE gta4 content in the summer

Looked sold out in most places in town at lunchtime. Woolies and HMV had sold out as had the game next to WHSmith. The other game seemed to have quite a few in stock though and gamestation had about 3 left for the 360. They've probably all gone by now though.

The game is actually amazing, graphics etc are spot on, xbox live multiplayer has loads of different game types as well.

This game is the dogs bollocks. I seem to be getting into it more than I did the last one. And playing it in HD on the Xbox is superb.

the graphics are nothing special imo, 1080p or whatever fucking p it is. they never have been on gta games.it doesn't matter and never has.
it aint about being visually good.take assasins creed,it is visually stunning, but after a while the game is repetetive and drab.

that's where you're going wrong, you want a bit of opposite lock when parallel parking.

On the title screen if you press up, down, left, right, then hold A + Start you can enter driving test mode which should help you with the parallel parking.

Ben there is a machine game thing that you can play on GTA it's something like Q3 something or other and it's proper old school like that picture  8)

I got the GTA 4 walk through book today, gives alot of handy tips.

Can prob just find them on the net though Ralph. Gamespot is good for game guides online.

Or gamefaqs. The level of detail and length of some of the shit on there gets ridiculous.

thats what i mostly play, its class the death matches at the airport, hide up on the planes and kill loads of fuckers  8)

I don't really rate this game online. It seems to take ages to get  a match going. The best mode is probably the free mode and that gets boring after a while. The deathmatch just isn't that good. It's all so spread out so it takes ages to actually find someone. Sometimes matches are to a money limit which will take you about an hour to get. When compared to something like COD4 online it just doesn't come close.

Try COD4. You'll be hooked in no time. I guess them 2 games are slighty different. Maybe i'm just used to running round and finding someone to shoot at every corner?  8)

i bought it a month or two ago, same time as i bought everybodys, but aint played it yet.

Also if you're playing it on Xbox Live make sure you use your headset and rip the piss out of any cocky little fuckers.

I have heard mixed reviews about Haze. Uncharted looks good. I'll probably get that if i get a PS3 as it's not available on the 360.

Ive only played the demo of Haze which was alright, i think it's been slammed for being over hyped as the next big game for the ps3 yet is nowhere near that standard.

Uncharted is good but i haven't bothered with it for a couple of months now, COD4 & GTA IV are taking up most of my time.

The zero-punctuation review of grand theft auto is awesomely amusing, as are all of his reviews. Go through the archives on the site and watch them allll. (his internet name is yahtzee, and he also made some ace freeware adventure games check them out much).

Although he actually liked the game which makes the review less fun. All you modern console people should watch his weekly video anyway. Top video game humour (and references to Fantasy Land Dizzy).
