Title: Value for Money?
Post by: walrus on Monday, October 10, 2005, 09:48:05
Games I've Been to This Season:

Oldham (H)  Nationwide  2-3  £15 ticket, £20 petrol
Forest (H) Town End  2-1   £12 ticket, £20 petrol
Yeovil (H) Nationwide 4-2    £15 ticket, £20 petrol
Southend (H)  Town End 1-2   £12 ticket, £20 petrol
Bradford City (H)  Town End  2-3  £12 ticket, £15 petrol
Franchise (A)   N/A  1-2  £7(?) ticket, £15 petrol
Port Vale (H)  Nationwide  1-2   £12 ticket, £15 petrol

So that's £210 following the Town, to see us win 6 points and score 13 goals.  That's £35 a point, and £16.15 per goal.  At least I've always seen us score this season....  *touches wood*, *touches lucky rabbit foot*, *hangs horseshoe on door*.....

I'd thought I'd been to more games than that, that's a pretty disappointing effort to be honest.  I'd hate see DV's bill  :D

I live in Crawley, but I've just started university at Brunel in Uxbridge, which is roughly 75 miles away, compared with Crawley which is roughly 100 miles away.  My car isn't the most ecconomical, and I make it about 10p per mile!  It only takes me about 1hr 30mins to get home to Crawley, or even less back to Uxbridge, but it is quite a quick journey, and I tend to cruise about 90mph-odd....!   :D

Saturday was my birthday night out, plus with a 1pm kick-off the roads were quiet, so I was near flat-out most of the way home...
