THe adver says maybe in the next 48-52 hours, so technically this could still drag into Thurs
If this was a manager in work we was negotiating for then he would probably be digging his garden now while compensation is haggled.
I think we have The Need for Speed - apparently he has a clause in his contract that means he has another year as a coach...I bet his back will hurt after carrying so many people

I think that interview with Nick Watkins was done yesterday though so would suggest Wednesday afternoon time would be when we are expecting an announcement if not before. |

Well if people are disappointed then Fitton has played a part by talking up some of the candidates. He's been an absolute master at confidentiality and fair play to the guy but he has upped the anti and the level of expectation. In view of his previous comments about fans expectations then he must know what to expect.

It does look like Ward is out of the race - judging by this quote from Watkins on the Adver. “All the candidates are in work at the moment. Therefore they have to be extracted from their current situations, and that takes time". |
