Wrong, he'll be appointed tomorrow. He went for another talk with Watkins today. Apparently Watkins was impressed with Dowie's long-term plans for the club and the contacts he has within the game. Also Cox has told Dowie he'll stay at the club. |

There was some subsequent chat from Fitton about not being sure if it's the right appointment, I guess our man was referring to cost here.
