I'd rather pericard be available and able to cover than Dossevi at least he knows where the net is and how to keep onside

It's funny how people absolutely slated Pericard, yet with He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named gone and Dossevi not amongst the goals, they want him straight back in the team.
Ho-hum.

personally I would rather have my eyes poked out with a snooker cue that see Pericard back on the pitch - however bad it gets. The one thing we do not need now is a lazy striker not prepared to chase everything. Not that any of us know much about Obika, he has to be given the chance ahead of Pericard and Dossevi

At the end of the day we've got two new strikers who haven't had a chance to prove themselves yet. Benyon has played one game, Obika's had 43 minutes.
Personally I'm a Pericard fan (or at least think the abuse and blame he gets is outrageous) but its obviously not worked for him this season. Maybe one of the new boys will prove to be the sort of partner he needs, maybe not. At least we've got a few options now rather than playing wingers up front.
Hopefully DW will have had a look at them in training and decide which 2 will work best together and give them a few games to show it. Know its late in the season for that and we need production from the front men immediately, but that's the way to go IMHO.

Atleast were have options off the bench this weekend. Dw has said he wants a big guy to partner obika to take the knocks and pericard is the best option for that if hes fit.

I really think Pericard is what we have been missing since ****** ****** left, someone to hold the ball up and let the midfield catch up with play which Dosser simply can not do even though he puts more effort in than Pericard. At least we now have options if we fall behind and can at least go 3 up front in times of need
