I like the kit. Only bit I’m not sure about is the V neck. Thumbs up from me!

We’ve also gone for a Port Vile looking away top.
Yeah I'm surprised by that as well. It's also the worst away colour to have with all the red and white clashes.

meh. I think I'm too old for kits!
they look nice enough, but nothing like last season's which really was bespoke.. cost I guess.
not sure I see the link between old and new except colours!
each to their own. it's not exactly a biggie ------
glad this is out the way so we can unveil the manager tomorrow

Would have preferred green and white trim but it's a nice enough shirt. Have a feeling it'll look better in person. Away is a bit training top for me.
And pretty sure kits are decided months in advance so the Port Vale comparison unavoidable unfortunately.

The kit is chosen half way through the season, way ahead of any agro with Port Vale

I like the home more than the away shirt which may have looked better in v neck and slightly smaller logos! Hardly incredible as stated not bad but preferred last seasons.

Like the pattern on the home shirt but the actual style and black trim just make it look like a training shirt, don’t get the black at all to be honest.
Away shirt is fair enough but just a template that’s the same colour as an old shirt.

You'd have to say those are quite loosely inspired.

Don't like the black trim on the home kit, pattern is a nice touch though. White away kit is a white away kit... meh.

With the black trim on the shirt, I wonder what they'll do with the shorts... Will they'll go with black shorts? (I know we went with that in the early 70's...maybe that's the 'past woven into the present' reference...can't see any other connection)... red shorts with black trim perhaps? Prefer white shorts but wouldn't look right with that shirt...

I think I hate modern marketing.
Our fans like a moan enough without doing something as asinine as promoting a v neck black trim shirt as being a throwback to our prem shirt. Swirls or no swirls.
I get you want to build hype for sales, but setting peoples expectations somewhere you're very obviously not going to meet is the opposite of good marketing.

This. Considering the hype it was getting - for me they haven’t delivered what I was expecting. Which you could argue is my own fault. Would have liked to have seen a collar and I don’t understand the black trim at all. Wouldn’t white and / or green trim have made more sense? Or even gold as that is at least on the club badge. Never been a fan of white away kits purely because to me they’ve always been a way to guarantee we need a third kit although everyone has a third kit now a days regardless. On first thought I much prefer last seasons kit. Wonder when the alleged green third shirt will be announced

I'm probably in the minority but I like the black trim. Won't be buying either kit mind but think they look smart enough.
