It will be the same template as Plymouth's away strip I think.

With the greatest of respect, I'm bloody glad you're not choosing the kits then. We'd look like a team of boiled sweets

The stripe is filled in in this one to make it a massive bar.

Yes, same template, different coloured parts. It's still the same template.

Whilst the 80s Adidas would be cool, we need to go proper old skool....

would it really be that hard for the club to get adidas to knock some of those old school ones up? they'd sell probably better than the current kits.

Yes, unless they were prepared to commit to selling huge quantities up front, virtually guaranteeing they'd make a loss. Same with all the big (and medium) manufacturers. They all have stock designs, even for the "big" clubs e.g. Arsenal and Man Utd have identical goalie shirts this season, just in different colours, as they both chose the same template

Why can't Adidas just stop fucking around by putting patches and two tone colours in and just make a plain shirt? Not like it would cost them anything design wise and there is always plenty of interest in retro Adidas shirts, they'd sell shit loads of plain ones alone. Plus our 80s Adidas shirt was also used by Man Utd and Forest amongst others.

Would be good if the club could at least make a statement saying "we asked and they told us to fuck off".
