Bristol Rovers have submitted a formal complaint to the Football League over the abandonment of last weekend's game at Wycombe.  Must be a cheeky attempt to get the 3 points awarded.  Tossers!

Unless has come to light since the game, the message they were giving after the match was that it was the right decision etc etc

It was the safety officer who caused the abandonment of that game, he considered it was dangerous for the spectators and asked the ref to abandon.  If it was dangerous it was the right decision! Head Hurts

What was considered dangerous? Rain, thunder and lightening? I kind of missed the reasoning.

I think it was the lightening that was the problem, had nothing to do with the fact they were losing 3-1!! Girl Giggle

I think it was abandoned after a lightning bolt struck the stand.

Scaramoosh scaramoosh

Surely the ground had lightning conductors. Must have been some pretty fucking severe lightning for the match to be called off, or was the 'elf n safety bloke just a bit of a wooss?

Will they start the match from 0-0 again then? If rovers were to go on and lose i'd imagine there'd be uproar.
