400+ runs from an opening partnership! Just a few short of the record partnership for an opening pair. Batting wicket, perhaps?

it shows nothing as the pitch was obviously sub standard for a test match wicket ......

I'm going to do it,1000 post in the Cricket Forum Beers

I'd agree with Spud, that our batting was useless, but also with Fats as well Smiley ,the pitch must be deader than the atmosphere at the kassam.Anyway everyone knows these games are as much to do with politics as cricket, the perfect result for the politicians would be a drawn series :-))( .

I'd like Pakistan to win as well, but i'm not sure its going to happen, what with their bowling being so ineffective[in this test anyway] :-))(

The third test in Karachi is looking as if there may be a result Shocked
Yesterday Pathan got a hat-trick in the first over of the game, the first time its ever happened.
At the moment India are 181-7 chasing 245.

Pakistan are 511-5 at the end of day three,i think the wicket has flattened out a bit Wink
Its looking like a Pakistan win, even taking into account India's great batsmen, they surely won't be able to chase down over 500 runs, although they will probably have plenty of time seeing as there are two days left and Pakistan haven't declared yet :-))(

Its looking very dodgy for the Indians now.Pakistan declared on 599-7 and set them a target of 607,which they are never goint to get,the best they could hope for is a draw.
The Indians are 146-4 at the moment.
I've just noticed as well that England are back at number two in the ICC test table Beers
