On our day we can easily beat any team in this league, and with few exceptions we should have beaten them all, only a few have genuinely outplayed us.
Conversely if we arent at the races then any team can beat us, often by bullying us and putting lots of high balls into our box and pressing us into errors.
I truly can't call it.

It's too hard to call all I know is we need to win and hope that the following teams win or at least draw this week end.
Bradford, Exeter, Newport, Oldham, Rochdale and Salford win or at least draw.

Similarly though we've gained points from last minute exploits and perhaps won games we didn't deserve to. Every single team from 4th - 24th will rue games in which they dropped points and should've won.
Was saying this to a mate earlier. Northampton for example could point at the game at ours right after their squad had, had COVID. Do we smash them otherwise?

There are 24 games we could have gained more points from this season. Pinpointing individual moments is foolish

I was only saying games fairly recent therefore fresh in people's minds that we SHOULD have won. I didn't add Exeter to that as they did a good job on us twice. You can't argue that Colchester, Rochdale, Newport and LO deserved anything from the recent games. If, if we had won those we would be in a position for the autos that is all.

So we cant suggest where we think we should have got results? Surely thats the point of fans forums? expressing an opinion of how we think things could have gone differently? Its purely hypothetical anyway, let fans have their say.

Well with 2 games left to play for each club there is still all to play for with many possible outcomes.
All we can do is win our remaining 2 games, which on paper are very doable against sides currently sitting in 21st and 14th place. Any side from 3rd to 10th could possibly make the play offs or also any of those could miss out on the play offs too.
1st FGR on 83 2nd Exeter on 83 -------------------- 3rd Northampton 76 -------------------- 4th Port Vale 75 5th Mansfield 75 6th B Rovers 74 7th Sutton 73 -------------------- 8th Swindon 71 9th Salford 69 10th Tranmere 69
Every side in there has 1 home and 1 away game left to play.
The remaining fixtures of the top 10 teams.
This weekend fixtures -
Forest Green Rovers (1st DLWDL) v Harrogate Town (19th (LLLLW) Northampton Town (3rd LDWWW) v Exeter City (2nd WWLWW) Rochdale (18th DWLWL) v Bristol Rovers (6th WDWWD) Sutton United (7th WWWLW) v Bradford City (16th LDDLW) Swindon Town (8th LWLWW)v Barrow (21st LWDWL) Tranmere Rovers (10th DDDWL)v Oldham Athletic (23rd WLLLL) Port Vale (4th WWWLLL) v Newport County (11th LWLLL) (Monday) Salford City (9th LWLDW) v Mansfield Town (5th WLLWW) (Monday)
Final day fixtures -
Barrow v Northampton Town Bristol Rovers v Scunthorpe United Exeter City v Port Vale Harrogate Town v Sutton United Leyton Orient v Tranmere Rovers Mansfield Town v Forest Green Rovers Stevenage v Salford City Walsall v Swindon Town

Rovers with the easiest.

Port Vale could very oddly manage to lose both of theirs and manage to go from 3rd to 8th in 3 games.

Think this season has proven that it just really isn't that simple. I'd rather be playing 2 teams in the top 7

We aren't alone. Bristol Rovers conceded an equaliser to 9 man Salford!

Weirdly I think Northampton are in a horrible situation - the pressure on that team is going to be immense. 3rd place by a point and having to play a team going for the title and in great form and one of the promoted teams away that have gauranteed safety and will be having their last party of the season at home. If they manage to remain in the top 3 then fair play, they deserve it - but drop any points and they are likely to be in the play offs or worse - imagine picking yourselves up for the play offs after being in the automatics and then dropping out at the last hurdle.
I think the Cobblers will be spending another year in League 2

All we can do is win the last 2 games and hope that somebody drops points, it would be an amazing run from us after only a couple of weeks ago everyone thought we was done for.
After the determination from the players against FGR lets hope they can show that same level of performance in the next 2 games and see where it gets us.
I really do hope we can snatch it at the last though and then see who we meet in the PO's.

Well somone has to drop points as some teams are against each other. Its just if it goes correctly in our favour or not.
