I'd take Billy Davies, Holloway or Boothroyd or Dowie.

I don't get the Dowie thing. Sure he had one good season with Palace but seems to have fallen on his arse everywhere else.

It amused me on Thisis.

You read the Luc Nijholt interview and the reaction is "we don't want him", "no former players" etc etc despite having a quite good coaching career to his name... But elsewhere on the messageboard, Albert Ferrer, someone with no coaching experience could do the business at STFC.

I forgot about his time there. QPR - the leagues richest club. not really relevant to STFC.

Personally I think the likes of Dowie and Boothroyd are out of our reach financially, but we will see.

Jonny Armchairfan has heard of Ferrer and Chelsea and Di Matteo is doing well which automatically means Ferrer will do well to.

On that note, Franchise second....how the fuck did that happen, even we beat them away from home!!!

I see in Saturdays sun they had a columin in the main paper going on about Ady Williams getting arrested. Apparently hes a top soccer boss and is currently manager of Swindon.

Shows how far these people are out of touch if its not the premiership imo.

I am inclined to agree Batch, yes I like any Town fan would welcome them but I truly cannot see Mr Fitton breaking the bank to emply them.

Boothroyd has already turned down Huddersfield and I would imagine that they would offer a more lucrative salary than we can right now, maybe it was because he didnt want to move to Udders, which is understandable!
