Looks like no keeper on the bench tomorrow. Had one lined up from a Championship club but it was stipulated he had to play and not sit on the bench.
Hope Ward doesn’t drop anything on his foot between now and midday tomorrow.

Can we use a youth team keeper on the bench, or do they have to be registered as a first team member.

We can indeed put a youth teamer or even a player on schoolboy contract on the bench if needed.
Maybe we have an outfield player who thinks he is good enough to fill in between the sticks if needed and also gives us an extra outfield player option off the bench?
I am sure most of us old enough will remember Rowland, Quinn, MacDonald all filling in, and (yes I know hes missing tomorrow) Grant has said he can fill in, in goal previously.

Imagine him dropping the ball on the edge of the box, dribbling around the whole team of grass munchers & smashing it in the top corner, or alternatively falling over his own feet after the tenth step over leaving the goal empty for them to roll it into the empty net. Can we play with a rush goalie?

Would rather we played rush goalie last season instead of Kovar, infact I think Kovar thought that was his actual position at times.

I wonder if we will play in our yellow and green away kit tomorrow as we have only won once in our red and white kit (home to Mansfield) so far, we have not been beaten when wearing the yellow strip so far.
Might be our lucky omen.

I suspect so, noticed we wore it last week against Rovers for no discernable clash reason. Perhaps we could wear it at home as well?

I hope we don't ever decide to wear it at home TBH lucky strip or not.
Going to be a massively difficult task tomorrow to get anything with a weakened side, but still Jojo is THE big loss for me, I hope Ward is up to the task.
Swindon to suffer a single goal defeat in front of 3,445 fans with 1,205 Town fans there.

This is my concern, I’ve never rated Ward when I’ve seen him play for other teams. Remember Doughty pretty much scoring direct from a corner at his near post when Ward was playing for Exeter and he was awful in their play-off match as well at Colchester and got dropped for the 2nd leg. He seems a bit Fryer like in that he’s big, but a bit immobile, poor with his feet and had quite a few injuries that seem to have ruined him.

Have we sold out yet?
The online tickets being removed from the website could be a positive sign. Thus hopefully we have. Would be rather embarrassing if we didn’t.
