At the risk of upsetting fans who love Ferry it says a lot that he had to drop down a division to get a club.

A little surprised he couldn't do better than league 2 though
there must be a reason that neither Wilson or Di Canio rated him at first and KMac thought he wasn't worth a spot in central midfield so was shifted out wide.

Hope Devera and Ferry score hat-tricks on the opening day.

Luxury player?

I did read that Di Canio's initial impression was that he was a good player but appeared to lack that bit of determination.  He must come across bloody awful in training sessions but when he gets a few competitive games he starts to come into his own.

I think I recall a Scotch contributing to the forum after we signed him, which pretty much said the same thing when he was at Celtic.

I'm sure Ferry was dropped on his head at birth, total mental case.

Pretty shocked that we released him and that it took him so long to get a club, hope he does well there.

Everything's just a laugh for Ferry though isn't, probably comes accross as a bit immature and maybe that puts people off. I was a massive fan though, never thought we played as well without him in the side. In fact I'm sure I tweeted some stats around the turn of the year which showed how much better we were performing with him on the pitch.

Great signing for Pompey though, they are building a great side and will have the fans right behind them this year.

I though the ITKers said he want to go back up north?

Decent player, made us tick, we stuttered towards the end without him in the middle. Would walk into our starting XI

Best of luck to him.
