UK Subs again.
Last time for me probably, unless they make it to the CG next summer.
I'm sure that Clem isn't working on it as we speak.

100 Club. A fitting venue.

If, like me, you’re feeling like most new mainstream music makes you feel old and decrepit, check out Pastel. Saw them at The Louisiana last night and they were fantastic. Think Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, The Smiths etc. late 80’s/early 90’s Manchester “vibes” as the kids might say.

Just put Deeper Than Holy on.....jesus yeah very Stone Roses.

Double header in Bristol.

PIL last night.
Not everyone's cup of tea but the semi operatic delivery from the great man is superb.

Undertones tonight.

O2 Academy isn't a bad venue.
Best to stick to half pints given the cost though.

Must be mellowing in my old age as even the local accent has been bearable.

Bristol o2 is a good little venue. Pub opposite is full of weirdo locals though.

10 Euros a pint in Madrid to see Paul Weller last week. I nearly spat my tapas out

Bloody hell, about £8.50 then.
£7.15 last night was cheap in comparison.

I'm starting to sound like a Grimsby fan. Someone please shoot me.

I forked out £7.25 for a pint on Gunwharf Quays last week. Had my blood pressure meds increased as a result.

Continuing my current streak of working on my favourite bands, Ive got 3 nights in London and one night in Manchester with the criminally underrated Manchester Orchestra doing acoustic shows.

We went to see a T-Rex tribute band last night, who were very good.

The lead singer mentioned that it was 46 years ago that Bolan died, which may explain the average age of the audience Smiley

Thats the guys who I promoted a tribute concert for the 45th anniversary of his death.  Which ended up getting rescheduled and being 46 year.  They had Marc Almond and Holly Johnson with them and Tony Visconti conduction the string section.

Last night was incredible.

Great venue, great acoustics, great set list, great lighting. Probably my favourite gig ever.

And you get to see it four times. Bastard.
