Managed to win a draw to meet the group backstage after the gig.
Turns out the current drummer was born in 1980, the last time I saw them Cheesy

Have to say the band were very good

It's Friday so it must be PIL in Sheffield.
Not been to the Leadmill before.
First visit to the Steel City since the last footballing encounter.

It occurs to me that pre gig preparations are much the same as the pre match ones.

Leadmill is great venue Wobbly Bob.
However the local authority are trying to close it, so if you enjoy please take the time to sign  'Help save the Leadmill' on their site.

Done. Yeah good venue, one of the better ones.

Surprised that so many of the small to medium venues survived the live music lockdowns.

UK Subs in Reading tonight.
Unlikely to ever sell out the CG if invited.

Final tour as the legendary Charlie Harper approaches 80 and off the back of a slightly more intensive touring schedule than the Stones over the years.

September gig madness continues with the marvellous House of All in Bristol tonight.

The Fall supergroup minus the great man.
MES will be chuntering away in his grave no doubt.

Not been to the Strange Brew venue before.

Tonight I am working a Marc Bolan Celebration featuring T-Rextasy, Neil X, Holly Johnson, Tony Visconti and Marc Almond.

I am the youngest person here.

I'm guessing that coincides with the release of the documentary / album?
