Very nice.  2300 cap venue with balcony.  Big dancefloor area.  Quite similar to Brixton Academy but smaller.  Interesting architecture.  Dubious connections with the blackshirts in the 30's.  You may notice a few dodgy looking eagles to the left and right of the stage.

Not that that matters, its a nice venue.

I think there are a couple of Carter fans on here, They are playing Brixton Academy on 22nd November, Last gig ever ( for real this time they will not be doing it again)
Anyway General sale starts Friday at 9 on Ticket Web, I believe there are still a few pre sales left through 02 priority
If you want to go and dont mange to get tickets, give me a shout I MIGHT be able to get you sorted.

My mate is going to try for tickets Friday. Didn't seem to be a problem last time but I expect there will be more interest this time. You got a man on the inside then mate?

Nice one. I'll give you a shout if we don't get any joy if that's ok. Is it truly their last ever gig then (and not just a PR excercise)? Will be sad day, they're great live!

too much sex and violence, too shocking, even for channel 4.

I've only got Straw Donkey - Carter Greatest Hits which I stick on every now and then.

Some great tunes.

Bought the first 3 albums and plus Rubbish & After The Watershed EPs. Instant dislike of 1992 The Love Album and didn't listen to them much after that. Occasionally did out '30 Something' and just watched a couple of interviews and live performances after seeing this thread.

Being an old git who loves his folk music I go to a one day festival at Hatfield House each year - 7 actos over 1 day. I'd already signed up again when Seth Lakeman was on the bill. they have now announced Richard Thompson as top of the bill - result. If Neil Young is Steve White then Richard Thompson is Colin Calderwood.

Was hoping I wouldn't have to shout mate but seems there's nothing left already. Anything you can do would be gratefully accepted. I'm after 2 standing if poss.

I will see what i can do, keep trying as well though as for an hour or 2 more will pop up due to credit cards not going through and the like.

Dont hold your breath as demand is high I know loads of people from the old fan club that have not managed to get tickets

Ok mate. Cheers for that - I'll keep trying and hope you can come through for me and my mate. Can't believe it's been so popular, wasn't expecting it to be honest. Maybe they should do a last ever gig every year. Haha.

Keep me informed if you have any joy. Whatever you can do will obviously be appreciated.
