You should expect a bunch of toffs led by a blob of pastry who looks like a younger david cunting cameron dressed at jack wills in fake farmboy clothing to peddle you some pleasant bobbins which soon becomes grating until you want to smash the bloody banjo so its neck splinters before you ram it up his over priveledged smug public school ass.

Went to see Travelling Band/Ellen and the Escapades at the Lexington in London a couple of nights ago, one of my favourite venues and the music was out-fucking-standing.

Glad to see another travelling band fan in a public place. Saw them last week in Bristol, seen them a couple of other places down the years too. Bloody superb band with great songs.

Anyone who hasnt come across them yet needs to have a listen to their second album "Screaming is Something". Absolutely blinding record. Sounds even better on a nice summer's day. Their new one isnt quite as strong but still pretty good.

Really hope they get a little bit of success, they bloody deserve it for being so fecking good, it sounds like they're pretty hard up at the moment.

Sonic, how are you on Icelandic bands.  One was on my show last night, asgeir trausti.  Quite liked them but not sure if it was just the magical little pixie voices

Don't know if they're still going but I quite liked Casio Kids as way of a change.
