It's an interesting one. The Bears may, just may stop the Colts.

The Cincinnati Bengals: Four Questions and Five Observations

Q. What do you call a drug ring in Cincinnati?
A.  A huddle.

Q. Four Cincinnati Bengals in a car, who's driving?
A. The  police.

Q. Why can't Chris Henry get into a huddle on the field  anymore?
A, It is a parole violation for him to associate with known felons.

Q. How do the Bengals spend their first week at mini-camp?
A. Studying the Miranda  Rights.

**********

1. The Bengals had a 8 and 5 season this year: 8 arrests (literally), 5 convictions.

2. The Bengals knew they had to do something for their defense, but they couldn't get the defensive coordinator they really wanted: Johnny Cochran

3. The Cincinnati newspapers reported yesterday that Paul Brown Stadium is going to take out the artificial turf because the Bengals "play better on grass."

4. Coach Marvin Lewis has adopted a new "Honor System" for his players - "Yes your Honor, No your  Honor".

5. Bengals Out of Playoffs - Police on Alert

Superbowl Sunday. Its hard to look beyond the Colts, but I have a sneaky feeling that Manning will bottle it and the Bears will win.

I'm supporting the Colts simply because they're in the AFC.

Hmmm.....the Bengals have become something of a joke for their off field carryings on :?  It's not that difficult not to get arrested FFS!

The Colts should win but I think it will be a battle. I think the Colts offence will win out over the Bears defence but you never know

Used to live in the Baltimore area in the mid 90s and got used to lots of Colts bashing (For those who don't know the franchise left Baltimore in the 80s because Baltimore refused to help finance a new stadium). Because of that I've always had a soft spot for them, especially as they used to be awful !

As for the Bears, I've never got over my dislike because of the media love of William 'The Fridge' Perry and Steve McMahon.

So, Sunday afternoon will be time to 'Go Colts !'

NMH

P.S. Work with a bloke from Cleveland who is a big Browns fan. He hates it when I keep asking him why he doesn't wear black and purple now his team has changed colours ! (Browns moved to Baltimore in the late 90s. There was uproar and Cleveland were eventually allowed to bring another franchise to their town. )

Just been confirmed that the London game will be Miami vs the Blue Scum.

Go Miami sounds wrong, but I can't support the other lot...

Cheers

So you have your hated local rivals against your not quite so hated divisional rivals. Interesting

I've pre-registered for tickets on the NFL UK website. Apparently tickets go on sale 'in the spring' whenever that might be :?
