Title: Friends Post by: Flashheart on Saturday, May 22, 2021, 23:50:39 Hi
My name is Flashheart, and I enjoyed watching friends (the TV show). Just wanted to get that off my chest. Title: Re: Friends Post by: DiV on Sunday, May 23, 2021, 07:09:30 I enjoyed the original run.
I enjoyed watching repeats on Sky One & E4. I got fed up of watching it after a while and started avoiding it. I probably haven’t watched it for 10+ years now. If I went back to it now, either I’d think ‘wow this is better than I remember’ or ‘oh wow this really sucks’ Title: Re: Friends Post by: Nomoreheroes on Sunday, May 23, 2021, 07:23:44 Its a bit like 'The Young Ones' - You had to be there, but looking back, its not quite the same.
Title: Re: Friends Post by: Batch on Sunday, May 23, 2021, 08:11:48 still flick an episode on in the background of there's nothing else on. Because friends is always on..

Title: Re: Friends Post by: Barry Scott on Sunday, May 23, 2021, 09:01:43 I dipped in and out over the years, have seen most of it and always enjoyed it.
Me and the missus are working our way through it all. We’re about half way through series 3 at the moment. Title: Re: Friends Post by: Bob's Orange on Sunday, May 23, 2021, 09:03:15 Most overrated thing ever to be shown on TV.
About as funny as inserting needles into ones own bell end. Title: Re: Friends Post by: Legends-Lounge on Sunday, May 23, 2021, 09:58:02 Most overrated thing ever to be shown on TV. Title: Re: Friends Post by: BambooToTheFuture on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, 14:42:43 I prefered Frazier and as a guilty one...Two & A Half Men.
Friends though, I preferred SM:TV Live take on it "Chums". Plus I think some of the friends cast appeared on it eventually. So at least they were game for a Saturday morning laugh. In fact talking of ridiculous morning kids tv (that the parents could get away with watching), what the hell has happened to that format? Is it still a thing or is there no one good enough to do that kind of role or show now. After Going Live and Live n Kicking (for my age group), SM:TV was probably the best thing since Gala Pie and it wasn't hosted by paedos either. Dick & Dom, whilst ok never really hit the highs of the previously mentioned morning shows. It might seem like I'm being incredibly nostalgic but I'm certain that format could still work today, even if it was online/streamed via YouTube etc. Although the shows would have to be reduced somewhat. Bring back live gunge dunkings to win a Playstation! Title: Re: Friends Post by: horlock07 on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, 15:05:40 quite. perma-erect I used to sit opposite a lass in the office whose nipples were constantly lively like that! FWIW I have never watched an episode of Friends. |
