I'm sure there's a song in there somewhere to "Take me home" by Jon Denver, purely based on "Lee Holmes" substituting with "me home".

Come on wordsmiths and lyricists help me out. Mr brian (sic) is battered after a tough working week, it refuses to do much but let me type and dribble.

Holmes, he's Lee Holmes,
back at the place, where he belongs,
Super Swindon, something something...

see.

...
Back to the place where he belongs,
Left the scummers to join the champions,
bring him home, super Lee Holmes?

Or,
Back to the place where he belongs,
Left the scummers to join the champions,
He's come home, super Lee Holmes?

Or,

Back to the place where he belongs,
Left the scummers to join the champions,
He's come home, county road?

I love the 'We are Swindon, we're top of the league' song to the tune of Sloop John B.

It's catchy, it's simple and factually correct.

Love it Cool
