I’m sure I was coming back from a Town away game when Hillsborough happened. For shame, my first thought was the scouse fans were to blame again. It was probably that sort of reaction the police were relying on to help cover it up.
Was listening to the radio as we played Watford. The guy on the radio said at the time that Liverpool fans were invading the pitch, so no surprise that the OB on the pitch thought the same. It took a while for the radio to understand that wasn't the case. For anyone that went to Luton in the Simon Cup, you can understand how that could happen, the saving grace there was that people were entering the terrace from the side rather than the back.

Really recommend Stay Close on Netflix with Cush Jumbo, Jimmy Nesbitt, Sarah Parish, Eddie Izzard and Richard Armitage.
Superb TV - 8 episodes it is. I watched them all back to back on Sunday!
Watched 3 episodes last night, it's got me hooked. Very good so far.

Stay Close is a very good series, much better than The Stranger and Safe. We are watching another Harlan Coban one on Netflix called Gone for Good which is French. Worth a watch.

I'm on episode 2 of series 3. Although it's a bit fantastic at times I'm still enjoying it. Love has just made a bit of a mistake when looking around her new bakery I like that he's found a kindered spirit; someone as psycho as him!

Finished The Detectorists on Thursday. Not the ending I was expecting but IMHO left the door open for more. Did enjoy it in a slightly cringing way.

Binged it last night I loved the previous 2 series but this one bored me senseless, just more of the same and not really funny this time. In hindsight it should have stopped after the last series, that ended absolutely perfectly

Suspending belief, I thought season 3 was the best yet.

Agreed, didn’t enjoy this series at all. It was all pretty pointless and very similar to series 1 I found.

This, there is only so far an obnoxious cunt going round calling other people cunts for comedic effect can go and it got quite tedious, albeit the sentimentality bit was still quite touching and if I am honest the last episode broke me and Mrs H07 a bit.
