Its frightening how light weight our side looks......I don't think Reeeeves has really been putting in the work to start yet....but I'd play him just to provide some leadership, if he was fit.

In the cold light of day, the season may come down to how well Pook, Lapham, Caton, and Wells, are able to learn the professional game PDQ.   I sincerely hope that Kingy finds a couple more, especially, one for that slot in midfield in front of the defence (Ooooolitt).

What's even more frightening is that King on RS said "Its frightening how light weight our side looks....we've lost a lot of size", as to why he got in Collins.

He then went on to blame Jerel for another of his moments...and intimated that Collins may be in for him, if it continues.

Neither Wells or Caton are on pro terms so you can't expect them to learn PDQ.

Lapham will be this years Herring....Pook I think will figure .

Evans

Collins  O'Hanlon   Ifil   Smith

Shakes Jenkins Whalley  Nicolau

         Cureton    Thorpe

We'll line up like this I predict. It will finish 1-1 and Jerel will be at fault for their goal.  again.

Pook? An interesting choice, and possibly an inspiring one. But would be hesitant to throw him in so early in the season.

i would not be so hesitant TBH. he scored a few goals in pre season and looks like he may be a useful player to us this season. Jenks in midfield has been tried and dont think it worked all too well. Having said that we do need experience in midfield but id rather have O'Hanlon in there. he did well in that postion last year

Having surveyed all the avaiable evidence.......barring Glenn McGrathesque injury     I think this will be the team at Barnsley.

           Collins Ifil O"Hanlon

     Shakes  Pook  Jenkins Whalley  Smith

I'd like to see Pook replaced with Roberts, using his pace for just behind the front two. That would be good.

Not a bad starting 11!, we still need some cover in the centre of that Midfield.
