Norman has played 46 games out of 46 two seasons running for Newport. I like those numbers.

It's certainly better than Harries (3), Baudry (5) and Brennan (17)

I thought this was an interesting article, with implications for STFC transfers - particularly replacing Ward with Brann (and the prospect of signing Ward again).

Reminds me of the L1 relegation season a couple of years ago, how many keepers did we have? about 44 I think. We only had Archie Mathews and Joe Fryer registered as keepers and both played a total of 5 games between them until Lee Camp signed later in the season.

To have that list of keepers in L1, in hindsight, was absolutely horrendous. Think most of them were so bad, Lee Camp looked like Manuel Neuer

Travers and Wollacott were decent, the rest were not fit for purpose

I wonder when we will hear if any of the players have accepted contracts offered - probably the next time the manager does an interview I suppose - either that or when the season starts

I really hope the club sorts out its communication issues going forward so timely updates and information and be released at the right time.

A couple of itk people from the fb group reckon there is something imminent but it is the usual oh I have been told and I cant tell you (so why bloody say you know something!)

Manager was on holiday for at least part of last week. Guessing it will accelerate a bit when he’s back

Peterborough set to sign RWB Josh Emmanuel, so maybe Hutton will be remaining after all.

They are in talks to sign Critchlow as well.

I can see Hutton stropping if he doesn't get his move.
