I would keep Shakes out wide. He has the pace to be a good outlet and has shown the ability to play good balls into the box recently. Plus with his pace he is often able to cut inside and shoot which I think makes the 4-3-1-2 a pointless move

Well the wingers pretty much sort themselves out: Shakes and Brown.

In the centre I would probably go for Migs and Comyn Platt, as Comyn PLatt naturally sits back (as he is a centre-half) so gives Migs the license to go forward.

Smith played well on Saturday though, while Gurney always gives 100%.

Shakes - Gurney - Miglioranzi - Brown

For me it's a toss-up between Gurney and P.Smith, I wouldn't even consider CCP for midfield.  Other than his goal last Saturday I thought he was a yard off the pace and his positioning was dodgy.  I like Gurney a lot in midfield when he's on his game, though I have to agree he was shocking on Saturday, although did break the game up and his "professionalism" can be an asset, if frustrating.  Paul Smith looked awesome vs. Doncaster and cannot be dropped on his current form.
