Wimbledon created the better chances.

Still expect the scousers to run out comfortable runners in the end though.

Would it be more beneficial(financially)for Afc Wimbledon to get a draw and replay @Anfield ,then lose,or go through and get beat  by Bolton  :headhurts:. . . Gerrard scores as i am typing.

I always liked Callum Kennedy.

The fucking scary thing is that whilst he due his width he looks short he is 5' 11" tall - the man is a proper unit.

Re. Akinfenwa, apparently he can bench press 180 kilos. I had to convert that to Imperial measurements for it to mean anything. It is 28.3451 stone. Unbelieveable.

He's always guaranteed to get the 'You fat bastard' chants wherever he goes but he's not fat, he's just built like a heavyweight boxer...

I'm pretty sure 99% of the people that call Akinfenwa fat know he isn't, he just appears that way because he's fucking massive and the fastest speed I've ever seen him reach is 0-10mph in half in hour

I think he almost broke into a stroll once and that was to take a penalty

Still love the guy though

Don't know about that....Paul Sturrock tried to sign him when he was our manager, and he's an OK judge. AA, was injured or something at the time so the deal fell through

Talented but I'm glad he's not our player, he's clearly not dedicated enough to football.

Whoever asked what's the difference between being a brick shithouse and Mr blobby has it right. None whatsoever. Both are too ill disciplined to ply their trade to the best of their ability.

Essentially akinfenwa=stfc Ruddock...

For the record I don't rate him but he is a fucking massive and always has a knack of scoring goals but his control is like that of a brick wall and he has the pace of an oil tanker.

Fans of all the clubs he has been to love him though, we almost signed him under Sturrock but he failed his medical.

Ha, wasn't having a go, just have a personal annoyance when footballers bulk up for no particular reason. Loads of them do it and 90% of the time it's unnecessary.

Think his touch is decent and he's good at ruffling defenders as he showed last night. If a team is launching it then he's a decent asset. Some good flick ons and mugged off premier defenders more than once last night. Gets in good scoring postions too. Obviously no good running the channels but that's why he plays for who he does.

A man of AA's size should have a stupidly fast sprint speed over 30-40 metres, which is more than enough for a football player. NFL players are bigger than him and can run faster. His problem is he's spent too long on the bench press and not enough time on agility. Good scoring record though.

Actually listening to him after the game yesterday he seems like a decent bloke, like that he admits that he likes the hustle and bustle against the centre halves but is less keen on the tracking back.

Football needs more characters like him and whatever you think his record is decent!

Think the cover's a couple of sumo wrestlers (well suits anyway) which was something Sky did back in the day in the name of MNF "entertainment". The crazy kids that they were.

Obviously the position they've managed to get themselves in resonates with the name of the fanzine.

Well that's what I think anyway. Crystal tips would obviously know better though if she still "lurks" on here?!

Haha, that's actually Ruddock without his body shape underwear .. :S

OT, I know it's "the internet" and all but I think people should have the right to decide what people do with their own work - especially when it's as great as Squires' is. I can't say I'd have been bothered (a Swindon graphic I made got posted around a lot and I can't say I minded one bit) but Ron was hardly rude or demanding, seems fair enough to me.

So is that anything to do with the American Football 'lingerie league' I've noticed on ESPN? Young ladies, skimpily attired but with helmets (ooh vicar) and padding 'playing' grid iron? Designed in Leicester? Not that I've watched this stuff, of course...
