They celebrated like they had just knocked out the Mee-lan at the san siro. Who the fuck were they playing.
Although having said that McGodden scores another cracker. The man is a LEGEND.

Piss off Arriba, after the last 5/10 years of shit we've had to put up with any bloke who scored a 30 yarder winner against the frogs deserves legendary status. We've only got another week left of thinking postive anyway, cos I have a bad feeling about the Ukraine and Georgia matches. But until that time, mo'an the Scots!!!!!

I have to agree with Janaage - I was born in Scotland and both my parents are scottish but came down to live in England when I was 6 months old. So I never got to celebrate 1966 because I am Scottish, I got the piss ripped out of me at school during the home international years as Scotland usually lost (or beaten up when we occasionally won). Then when I visited my family in Scotland I got spat on because I am "English." But the worst thing of all was 1978 and "we're on the march wi' Ally's army" So I've had a life time of disappointment - ideal when it comes to supporting STFC

Redbulzeye, you have just hit the nail on the head. Being a Scotland fan prepares you well for the trials and tribulations of being a town fan. Many an english town fan don;t realise how they sound when they start talking about England/Scotland/International football, they end up sounding like the average fucking arrogant premiership supporter, going on about how great their team is and how they wouldn't "waste their time" with an international side like Scotland. Well my friends I really don't think you choose your football sides, it's just something that feels right within the old blood pumper!!!

Just don't come home too soon!!!! My step-dad is Scottish so I have alot of time for the Scots - I was well chuffed for them when they beat the French. England's British rivals have an uncanny knack of beating the teams the English desperately try and beat but can't. Which I find amusing. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/7/79/Oor_Wullie.jpg/180px-Oor_Wullie.jpg

I'm surprised you see it that way - I'm fed up of hearing how crap England are after 4 straight 3-0 wins. Yesterday I was sat with some Chelsea and United "fans" complaining about how dodgy John Terry is :?
