Richie Wellens is now 4/7 on Sky bet for the Salford job. The next one on the list is 4/1.
If it's going to happen it will be this week.

Hope he doesn't go but i can see it happening in the current climate with Jewell taken over at Swindon.

Where as with William Hill, where he was 1/6, he’s now drifted to 4/5.

What about Hunt as I think he lives in or around Reading

I suspect that the deal is done and will be announced early next week.

We will see. I don't pretend to be in the know.  Of course, they could be telling porkies.

I still think if it was going to be Wellens it'd be done by now.

If he did go I would imagine It would be for family reasons rather than falling out with power

Would they need to bring in their preferred choice before Thursday?

Thinking about the impending restrictions and whether they could have any impact.

Oooh, interesting question. Doubt it would be any worse than having to isolate for 14 days before switching clubs..

Wait a minute... He's already started Smiley

Warren Joyce now 1/5 favourite with both SkyBet and William Hill. Wellens now out to 9/2.

You'd imagine the delay is Paul Scholes deciding whether he wants the job or not.
