Plus I want to go to the Harrods sale first!

Surely that's still more expensive than everywhere else though?

On a Harrods related note, [here he goes again...] me and a some friends had to attend a psychology lecture in London back when i was doing A-Levels. Me and a mate (who incidentally went on to do a masters in said subject) decided it was boring. There were hundreds of people from schools all over the country in some massive lecture theatre and half the shit these professors were talking about was very dull, so we decided we were going to sneak out from under our teachers noses and go to Harrods all day instead.

We made it out unnoticed, sneaked to the nearest tube station and caught a tube to knightsbridge and made it to Harrods. We then spent all day browsing, walking around, and being teenage twats and even managed to buy a few Chirstmas presents. We then managed to get back to the location of the lectures, sneak in amongst the crowds, as everyone was leaving, then onto the bus with all our class mates back to Swindon.

It was a proper adventure, the only downside was our teacher was livid for ages because "we clearly hadn't listened to a word that was said all day and didn't even bother to take notes." We were also often on tenterhooks because our mates would often loudly ask questions about the lectures, or hint about Harrods, to try and drop us in it. Happy days.

I don't go to buy - just to look at nice things I can't afford!

I liked your story though!

Harrods used to do these amazing cookies, fresh. They were full of chocolate chunks the size of squares of chocolate from a bar. They were warm and soft and the chocolate was closer to a liquid than a solid. They were boss - to quote a random bristolian.

I had a cupcake from Harrod's when I was in London to see Spinal Tap - Both the Tap and the cake were amazing.

Mr Al Fayed could pop up a big screen? Would be so much more warm and comfortable than a football ground we could go to the foodhall at half time!
This is possibly the best idea EVER!??
